I have a painful condition on the skin of my fingers and palms
that causes them to split . . . not a pretty sight . . .
and four of my fingers are split on the ends . . .
and typing does NOT help . . . (normally I am a very fast typist)
so:
I cannot write at great lengths as is my wont . . .
